First fine art wedding
Back in October in 2020, I photographed my friend’s wedding. I shot about 3000 digital images and 3 rolls of film. I delivered the 300 finished digital images about a week after the wedding and was supposed to develop the analog ones fast. But for some reason the long-developing times of Delta 3200 had me regretting choosing the filmstock. So it’s been a long time since I shot these rolls of film but finally managed to develop and scan these rolls. The rolls I shot are Kodak Portra 400 and Ilford delta 3200. From my results, I can safely say that I love them and would love to shoot more “fine art” weddings.

The photos were shot with a Mamiya 645 AFD III with an 80mm F2.8 lens.
The next ones were shot on the Fujifilm X-pro 3 with the 56mm F1.2, 35mm F1.4, and 23mm F1.4.
Christmas on Kodak Portra 400
Pictures from a roll of kodak portra 400 shot with the Olympus mju 1
Indonesia 2017
Pictures from my first ever solo travel. I decided to go to Indonesia for a sailing trip. I brought with me my trust old Canon 450D with an 18-200mm lens and a “how-to” book on photography. This was the start of my photography career, as you can tell from my very bad editing of these photos.
Enjoy!
From Amsterdam with love
In the month of September, my girlfriend and I decided to travel to Amsterdam. This was our first trip with the Olympus Mju 1 and testing the Kodak Portra 400 that everyone is talking about. It delivered for sure, might be some of my favorite photos ever, but it might be from my strong feeling from this amazing city. I really love it here. I also got the chance to play with a bit of street style photography, which was definitely way out of my comfort zone.
We also brought our trusting fuji cameras as well as the film camera. I am still experimenting with film and don’t 100% trust that the photos will come out as I want them. Also if I want to print something, it’s just easier with my fuji right now, maybe in the future, when I know more about darkroom, ill be able to make awesome prints. I’ll post the digital photos we took underneath the analog photos.
Photos below are taken with the point and shoot camera Olympus Mju 1 and two rolls of Kodak Portra 400 speed analog film.
And now comes the digital photos. The camera we used was the Fujifilm X-Pro 3 and the X-E1. My girlfriend used the 18mm F2 (some of the photos are her’s) and i used the 18-55mm Zoom lens as i wanted to shoot in tele for the architecture.
Weekend trip to "Borgen", Rissa
A weekend trip to our cabin in Rissa. It’s my mother’s childhood home. On this trip I’m testing my new point and shoot film camera, Olympus Mju I. It got a 35mm F3.5 lens, I’ll write a review of it later with sample pictures and my thoughts.
I shot some of the pictures on Fuji Superia 200 (the last ones), but I also had the chance to test a new film stock, Kodak Colorplus 200, which is supposed to be good for skin color. that made me want to test out some portraits of my family. See if you can spot the different film stocks, which is which? Comment down below. See the photos by scrolling further down.
There are also pictures from our way home on a visit to my girlfriend’s parents’ house and snapped some photos of the cat that actually a small tiger. When you see the same picture more than ones, that’s me testing flash vs no flash to see what’s best.
Some pictures are also taken by my girlfriend, Guro. Check out her blog.
may weekend on fujifilm C200 analog film
Here are some 35mm film photographs I took back in May of 2019.
The pictures were taken from a trip to Trondheim. We went to Plantasjen to get some plants for my garden project, we headed over to bakklandet for a walk and ended up at a pizza restaurant at “Solsiden”. Amazing pizza, don't remember the name of the restaurant tho. Bakklanded is such an amazing part of Trondheim! I would love to live there. In the afternoon we headed to Rissa for a small visit with my family and to get some pictures of my sister. The following day, we headed home to start planting the plants we bought at Plantasjen.
All pictures are taken on the Olympus OM10 with the 50mm F1.8. As stated in the headline, the filmstock used was Fujifilm C200. This film stock is known for its strong green’s, You can see it in the pictures that the greens show through.

easter trip to säffle, sweden
In the Easter week of 2019, my girlfriend and I decided to take a trip to an apartment my family owns in Säffle, Sweden as she hadn’t been there before. After finishing my three rolls of film I was eager to find more. I went searching in all the camera stores on our way to Sweden but was in no luck and my last bet was an old camera store in Säffle itself. At first try, there were out of stock due to its recent popularity. He only had expired film left, one from 1998 and one from 2007. So I started my walk back to the apartment when I realized that expired film is better than no film. I sprinted back to ask the staff I could buy the expired ones, but he didn’t want to sell me them. He only wanted to give them to me because he didn’t know if it would work, but I decided to try anyway and it came out amazing!
Kodak Color Plus 200 Expired 2007
The store staff gave me an old Kodak Color Plus ISO 200 expired back in 2007. After only shooting only expired film and only finding expired film, no wonder I thought there was no new film to be found. The Kodak Color Plus is a very affordable film, think about 5 dollars or 50 NOK per roll. Around half the cost of Kodak Portra 400 witch is the one most people use nowadays. I like the colors that came from this film. I need to pick up some more of the film later to see if it holds up or if it was because of the expired date.
Here are the pictures from Säffle and our return home. On the way home, I dropped my girlfriend off in Hamar, Norway for her last days of school there.
I LOVE THE GRAIN IN THESE PHOTOS! LOOKS PERFECT! :)
