rusasetvatnet
Today’s post is about our local pond. Where the locals go to relax, have a walk, exercise or just get out of the house. Everyone needs to get to know their local town, this summer day in June me and Guro went for a walk around the local lake, Rusasetvatnet. The reason I (Håkon) wanted to take a trip there was to recreate one of my best pictures taken (find it in my portfolio) with the Fujifilm X-T3. It’s of a high voltage pole that goes across the entrance of the park. As I was exploring more film, I wanted to see how it would look on 35mm analog film. This pond or “bird park” is rich with history. From being a wonderful place for birds to almost nothing, to a new paradise for birds again.

Here are the pictures we took on our trip to the water. Pictures are taken with the Olympus OM10 with the 50mm F1.8. The film stock used was Fuji color 200 and Ilford HP5. You can now see that the “park” is thriving when birds again.
